Sydney Opera House

One the most famous buildings in the world is the Sydney Opera House. Its unique outline prevalent on the skyline is known throughout the globe. The architect was the Dane Jorn Utzon. There are multiple performance halls in the building, the smallest of which was recently dedicated to its architect. Opera is of course performed at the venue, however there are also concert and theatre performances. While in the city, I saw a show featuring singers from the Australian Opera Company performing selections from famous operas like Carmen, The Barber of Seville, and La Boheme.
